President and CEO
Kanji KAZAHAYA is President & CEO of Culture Connect, who has more than 20 years of experiences in media industry, especially international licensing business. He worked one of the top Japanese animation studios, Toei Animation from 2004 to 2013 before he established Culture Connect. At Toei Animation, he was the head of its international business to license its key properties, such as "DRAGONBALL Z", "ONE PIECE", "DIGIMON", "PRETTY CURE" for the global market before became an independent in 2012. Since 2016, Kanji is an advisor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Tokyo Animation Business Accelerator Program. As the head of Culture Connect Kanji supported various international companies, such as Rainbow srl in Italy, QC Media in China, just name a few.
